Christmas Eve!

We had a lot of fun on Christmas Eve.

We spent the first of the day at Get Air, jumping to the girls hearts content.

For dinner, we assembled at Johnson's and had a yummy dinner together. Apparently it's a thing in Sweden to burn a goat(?), so Alicia and Dan presented us with a story and a straw goat to burn. It was pretty great.

We went caroling to some of the Spjute neighbors, then we all assembled back in April and Toby's basement to Facetime Mark and Kathy on their mission. It was fun to see them on the big screen.

Afterwards, everyone said their goodbyes and we came home to open Christmas jammies. The girls had been waiting all day and were so excited to finally rip the paper open.

L.O.L. jammies and Elsa! Claire waited all month long for these jammies. Her patience paid off.
I love my Christmas onesie!

We read and acted out the Nativity this year. Sof was Mary, Greg was the wisemen, and Claire was baby Jesus.

The girls were so excited to sleep downstairs so that Santa could set up their bunkbed. They couldn't wait for Christmas morning! Christmas with kids really is so fun!

All set up! Although they are beautiful, I will be buying them next time.
