Happy 31st Birthday Greg!

I had big plans for Greg's birthday, but he refused to come home earlier than 5:00 pm, so we postponed them for another day. But, we had fun in the few hours we had, and family came over for 9 dozen cookies (literally, 96 cookies!), cupcakes and ice cream. It was great!

I went through and found some cute pictures of Greg with our girls over the last year. Enjoy! He truly is the best dad!

Notice the crown on Princess Greg.

Happy Birthday Greggy! You are one loved Man!

And I had to document this giant bow on Claire's head. Yes, she wore it all day!

Busy Season Has Begun

Busy season started with a vengeance. Poor Greg has been busy since the first of January with no end in sight. It took a little bit to get into the a schedule, but now that we are, it's not too bad being a single parent. As long as he gives me Sunday's to relax, we will survive!

Claire started walking the first of January and hasn't slowed down since. She is fast and nothing is safe!

15 months after sitting in this room every day, I had finally had enough! I made Greg take the girls one Saturday so I could remedy the twitch in my eye...
Doesn't it look soooo good?!

Guess who's a Sunbeam and absolutely LOVES it?!
We got invited to watch Football over at the Spjute's and it worked out for everyone! The Men went downstairs to watch the game and everyone else was upstairs eating and chatting. Sometimes I wish we could do it more.
Oh Sof. You're welcome.
Living next door to a hairdresser has its perks. We get haircuts while Claire naps.
And I chopped 9 inches off. Now that I'm used to it, I'm wondering why the heck it too me so long!
After my neighbor was done, it looked like a small animal had been cut off my head.
Naked and books. Claire's dream come true.
We splurged and rode the train around the mall. I should have sent the kids by themselves.
But Sof loved it, so I guess it was worth it.
Sof has this weird obsession with our railing.
Claire reverted to wanting a binky. It lasted a couple of hours.
And she loves necklaces. And Shoes. And Bracelets. She is such a girl!

Christmas Break & New Years

Sof has become quite the little sledding conisseur!
Out playing in the snow with Camden. I love that she's finally old enough to go play and come back in when she's done.

We made good use of our Seaquest Aquarium passes.
There is something about the Megalodon that makes me glad it's extinct!

Her cheesy grin is truly the greatest!
Sof having fun with her new marble run.
New Years Eve we made good use of some Boondocks passes we were given last year for Christmas. I'm pretty sure both girls beat me in Bowling. Oh well.

The carousel was a hit, as always, and Claire was not happy to leave.

Greg won Sof this awesome giant ball!
We were greeted with this beautiful sunset as we walked out the doors.
Greg worked New Years, so we were content to chill that day.
I found this little nugget on the stool. She sure is a curious little thing! Nothing is safe... nothing.
New Years Day we went swimming at the Bountiful Rec Center. That is one of the 3 things I miss about living in Bountiful. That Rec center is pretty great, and the girls had a lot of fun! Claire was all about going down the slide and Sof was so happy to be able to swim like a mermaid. She's convinced she will receive a mermaid tail as soon as she can swim without her floaties. We shall see.
