Easter 2019

We had a fun, full Easter weekend. The girl's had 2 Easter Egg Hunts in the same day, and we had a beautiful Easter Sunday where everyone (mostly) behaved, and we were able to feel the love of our Savior and gratitude for his Amazing Atonement for us. Because of him, I have my 2 crazy kiddo's and Patient husband. I am beyond grateful.

We started Saturday morning off with the Kaysville Egg Hunt. Sof had turned 4 just 1 week before, so she was in the different age group with all the big kids. So we split and conquered. Claire was hilarious and wanted nothing more than to walk around with her bucket on her head.
I"m convinced they gave the babies the best candy!
I love her bouncing pigtails!
2 Happy girls! What's even better is they got to play on the playground at the park. It's become a favorite.

After the Egg Hunt in Kaysville, we loaded up and drove to Park City to get together with Greg's Aunt and cousins. His cousin Season is so much fun and put on an amazing Easter Egg Hunt. She lives on a golf course and literally put eggs everywhere! There were some eggs as far as we could see, and I'm pretty sure the big kids found them all.

Claire was content to sit and be pushed on the swing.
No Words! 🤣
We stopped at Home Depot and have quickly learned that the girls are way happier to climb around in the car than being pushed around in the Home Depot Cart. It makes the trip more enjoyable for everyone!

Dying Easter Eggs!

Easter Sunday!

Sunday wasn't quite as warm as Saturday, but it was still a beautiful day. We were able to spend it with just us, and that was the best part!

This girl can pound corn on the cob more than anyone I know! And the best part? She eats it with butter!! Usually she hates butter, so we're making strides people!
I LOVE US!

I can't end without putting in this picture of Claire. She is so much fun and has so much passion for life! It is no wonder that Christ tells us to become as little children to enter His Kingdom.

Random Fun

My sweet Grandpa was in rehab for a while after falling and twisting his knee. He was staying in Bountiful and we had fun visiting him one night. He is starting to have dementia, but he was still his sweet self. He is truly the most loving and wholesome man I know.
Claire decided one day she was big enough to sit on the big kid swing. Turns out she was right.
Princess Sofi celebrated her 4th birthday in her Preschool Class!

The same day Sofi's class celebrated her birthday, we took an impromptu lunch at McDonald's and it ended up being one of the best things! Claire was so happy running around with the big kids and climbing things, and Sofi was happy to get her Kids Meal toy and ice cream.

Claire kept coming to check on me.

This is a really fun game Sofi got from Grandma Great for her birthday.
Sofi was so in love with her Happy Meal toy, she wanted to take a picture of it. Don't worry, there are 8 other pictures just like this one. But I love that she didn't even position it to look cute, she just laid it on its back! :)
We took Sof's new school to ride on the Lagoon trail, and she flew! I could hardly keep up with her.
A fun pic Sof took of me and the Clairey babe.
Sofi was so excited to drive Sam's gator. Claire wasn't as thrilled.
I LOVE the Greek Place in Station Park. If my hysterically big smile doesn't tell you how much I love it, I don't know what will. If you haven't been there, you need to go.

Our silly Claire likes to walk around with this blanket on her head. I love following her around and watching her run into things! She's truly hilarious.

Sofia turns 4!

We have a 4 year old!

Sofia is truly one of the sweetest girls there is. She LOVES her friends and finds a new "best friend" wherever she goes. She looks out for the underdog and has such a cute personality and imagination! She is getting pretty good at Mario Kart, and continues to love Disney Princesses, but has now branched out to liking Lego's, Ice Age, and Ninja Turtles (courtesy of the 3 boys next door).

Sofia's birthday was on a Sunday, but we still made it as fun as we could for her! 4 year olds don't know the difference, so she was easy to please.

Sofi requested Funfetti cupcakes for her birthday and was thrilled to have cousins come play! The icing on the cake, though, was having Uncle Toby come and play. He has a special place in her heart.

Within 1 week of turning 4, Sofi learned how to ride a pedal bike and can now pump while swinging, which has been an awesome thing for me (her mama)! She is quickly picking up on new skills, and continues to have the best memory of anyone I have ever met. We love this girl, her funny sayings, and the happiness she brings us every day. She is the best big sister and the best daughter. She is truly one of our greatest blessings.

Sofi got a Pink Scooter for her birthday. She was made for speed!
