All About February

February was a fun month. Here are the highlights:

Greg was able to go sledding with us one day.
The bathroom got another update. For being the smallest room in the house, It sure has become very time consuming. But, doesn't it look so good! Next: Framing the window, the mirror, painting the vanity, and [eventually] the counter.
The party animal turned 1!
Claire and her shenanigans.
We went to Coconut Cove one day and it did not disappoint! Greg and I got to sit and relax for 2+ hours while the girls ran around and around and around.
The sky was on fire one night.
Patiently waiting for their Daddy.
A beautiful winter morning.
We went to the Croods 2 one day. It was hilarious! Our first movie post-COVID. It felt really good!
These two were made for each other. I'm not even joking.
Greg is the only one who Claire will let sit and hold her hand. She is a definite Daddy's girl.
This cat has a straight shot to Heaven.
This is my literal nightmare. I abandoned them on the frozen pond so I could safely take a picture from the shore. I don't regret my decision.
She is getting so big, and prettier by the day!
Make that two Daddy's girls.
Greg made it home early one night to FINALLY ride his new bike - it only took 1 month. We were so excited, we all piled in the van and went to watch.
Sof loved chasing him up the trail.
We built the girl's a fancy fort in the basement one night - it was weird being the only ones on the main level, but they slept so good! Glad Sof was able to use the crib mattress 😏
More exercising. Girlfriends have skills!
Greg got his COVID shot!
Cute Sof made us some photo props one night.
This girl knows no bounds.
All dressed up with nowhere to go.
My dad gave a talk one night to his old YSA ward. He did so good! It was fun being able to watch him over Zoom. I will admit, COVID has changed some things for the better.

Greg tuns 33!

I made Greg promise me to be home at a semi-decent time on his birthday. A few months earlier he bit the bullet and ordered himself a fancy new mountain bike. The estimated delivery date was approximately in February, but he was thrilled to get the call from the bike store on his birthday that his new bike had come in! We were all so excited that all 4 of us went to the bike store. The girls helped Greg pick out some pretty purple pedals. Cute Greggy has waited his whole life for this moment.

He was admiring his bike so much in the rearview mirror, that he completely forgot to look for cars behind us. He hit a truck with the bike rack, but luckily no damage was done. What made it even better was the lady sitting in the passenger seat. I was dying!

We got home just in time for Mark, Kathy and Marcus to come over and eat Greg's peanut butter bars. He didn't blow out his candles, but he was sure spoiled!

We love Greggy and are lucky to have him!

Playing heavy, heavy hang.
Oh Mittens, I love his and Claire's relationship.

Fun in January 2021

The weather in January was beautiful! For being the month I always dread, it didn't turn out to be too bad.

Sofi got some new shoes and they are so cute! She recently learned how to tie her shoelaces and these are the best of both worlds. Plus they are rainbow, which is totally Sof. Thank you Target clearance shelf.
2021 brought about some good things, like the fact that Claire would now wear a mask. Girlfriend loves Ikea though, so I secretly give the store the credit.
Sof learned a cool new trick!
Like owner, like cat.
Claire started taking a singing class from Ms. Karen and loves it! It is so cute to watch her run to the door so excited every Tuesday. Although I hate that she has to wear a mask, I love how cute she looks in it.
A beautiful winter day at the park. No coat needed.
Greg and the girls found some fireworks one night.

Per tradition, when Greg starts to get busy, we head South. Cedar's weather was just as beautiful, but the blue sky was out of this world!

Our chariot! My dad has been selling some of his toys and picked up this little beauty. I forget how much fun motorcycles are. We will be getting some post haste.
Even though the temple grounds are closed, we loved walking around. Fun fact about the Cedar City temple: they had to make Moroni shorter than normal to abide by airport guidelines. The airport is directly north of the temple, so planes are taking off and landing all day long.
Poor Mocha is a trooper.
Mittens found the warmest spot in the house. 🤣
A beautiful January picnic in our playhouse
She's too cute for words.

It snowed one Sunday, so we decided to try out the Minnie Mercedes AWD while we waited for Greg to get home from fulfilling his Clerk duties.

Sof hit a whole new level of picky eating in January, so I found a Feeding Therapy place that includes play in their therapy. It was a fun place, but after a few weeks I realized she was more excited to play than she was to actually cooperate with the therapist, so her time there was shortlived.
I love finding selfies of Sofia on my phone 🤣💓

We took the girls ice skating one day. It was fun, but I think we are good for 5 years or so before needing [wanting] to go again.

Exercising - I think they are the cutest in their stretchy pants clothes!

I had to pause my workout to capture this cute moment. I love when they play cute together.

This crazy cat found a box to lay in. He fits perfectly ...
It finally snowed enough for Greggy to go sledding with us. It melted quickly, but was fun nonetheless.
Claire is getting pretty good at her hiding places for Hide-and-go-seek.

This picture. It is everything!
