Day 2 - California Adventures!

Once again, we woke up with plenty of time thanks to Greg's alarm that went off way too early. But, we were ready for another day! We ate a delicious breakfast, and Greg, once again, scored us tickets in California Adventures for the new Avenger's ride. Give Greg a task, and he'll get it done!

We were inside and waiting for the park to open in plenty of time. Our plan was to book it to the Cars ride, which seemed to be everyone else's plan, but the wait really wasn't too bad. And, the girls loved it!

Greg prided himself on paving the way for basically everyone behind us. They saw a giant stroller, and that Greg meant business. We got places quickly and pretty efficiently.

We had this awesome app that let us know what the wait times were at each ride, and after Cars Land we saw the ride to the Guardians of the Galaxy tower was only 15 min, so we booked it over there next. The girls almost lost their minds, and Claire refused to go on it again, but once Sof got over the initial shock of dropping 13 stories, she loved it. She has since told me she wishes she could live in that tower 🤣.
This is how Claire waits in line.
On our favorite ride! Midway Mania.
Greg took Sof again to go on Guardians of the Galaxy while Claire and I hit up the Ariel ride. We then met back on the hanging swing ride. It was awesome.
We took a much-needed coloring break in La Plaza de Familia. It was so fun!
We took this pic right before they told Claire she was too short to ride the Grizzly Rapids ...
Greg and Sof found Max!
I went to buy Churro's while Greg took the girls on another carousel.
Waiting in line for the new Avenger's ride. It was alright.
Another fun parade!
Getting whiplash on the Mater ride.
Sof was beyond excited to find Officer Hops. I'm pretty sure this bunny is the reason why she wants to grow up to be a Police Officer.

We took a break from rides for a bit and went in to experience a dance party. It was actually a lot of fun and only about 20 mins. We were all pleasantly surprised.

This ride was so fun! Luigi's cars all did a synchronized dance, and it was different every time.
Sometimes Claire gets in a modeling mood, and it's always hilarious. I'm not sure where she learns this stuff.
The Yellow Snow Shack was a hit!

We found Elsa and Anna!
Being flipped off by Goofy is one thing we can cross off our bucket lists! 🤣🤣🤣
We ended the night swinging all over the place on the Ferris Wheel. Greg and the girls were cackling the whole time while I screamed my head off. It was definitely a first and last time for me.

We LOVED California Adventures. I think we actually loved it more than Disneyland. And we can all agree, Cars Land was our favorite!

Day 1 - Disneyland!

Greg set an alarm, and we were up and ready in plenty of time to eat a delicious breakfast and be in line in Disneyland before everything opened up. Let's just say Greg kept us on schedule 😉. I was nervous about what Sof would eat while at Disneyland - she had hit a whole new level of picky, so we had a whole backpack full of food dedicated solely to keeping her alive, which ended up being a huge success.

Not only did Greg get us up on time, but he also scored us tickets for the new Star Wars ride. Boyfriend was a freakin' boss that morning!

There is no running allowed in Disneyland, so we booked it as fast as we could to our first stop: Peter Pan's Flight, and the wait was minimal.
We all somehow fit on Dumbo.
Greg took Sof on the Matterhorn and she LOVED it! His lower back, however, did not.
This train ride was so fun, and I was dying at Greg sitting in the caged animal car 🤣
Sofi was so excited to go on Splash Mountain and insisted on sitting in the front. But she learned that was a bad idea when she got soaked on the first little drop. She was weeping and wailing while Greg and I were laughing our heads off. There was nothing we could do, and it was kind of hilarious!
You can kind of see how wet she really was.
Remember how I said Greg scored us tickets to the new Star Wars ride? Well, it was absolutely amazing! And this is coming from someone who doesn't care for Star Wars.
The new way to order food is through the Disney app, which proved to be awesome because you could order food for a specific restaurant from anywhere in the park and choose when you would like to pick it up. The girls ate like champs every day! Greg was definitely in his happy place.
This pic perfectly describes how we all were feeling about standing in lines.
Pure joy!

We took a break to go in the shops and search for a treat. The girls had fun making Pinocchio dance.

We found Alice, and she was completely mental.
We somehow talked Sof into going on Splash Mountain again. We asked one of the many janitor's for some garbage bags and it was the magical answer to not getting wet. We put Claire in front this time, and the bags worked perfectly!
back on King Arthur's carousel.
Taking a break on It's a Small World. It's Greg's favorite ride, just ask him 🤣.
We didn't see very many parades, but the ones we did see were fun. We were there at Halloween, so everyone was dressed up and they had the villains out.
On our way out, we found Pluto!
