Our Latest and Greatest

Her absolute favorite food is Peaches!
Guys, we have a 5 month old! She is getting so much fun and has quite the little personality. She will eat literally anything (food or non-food) we give her and just discovered yesterday she is getting 3 of her 4 canine's. Poor little babe! No wonder she has been drooling like a rabid squirrel. But she's a trooper and will be able to look like a vampire just in time for Halloween!

I'm basically obsessed with this cute girl, so here are some pictures from the last month.

This is her, "I know I'm cute" face
Notice the cutest little moccasin toes sticking out
Just another day, ain't no thang
She has been chewing on everything and everyone.
For one who won't take a bottle, this sure gives me hope
She found my nose one day
She loves chewing on this thing and has to have it whenever
she see's me taking a swig
She loves her new toy. Especially because her feet don't touch.

We have done some fun things the past few weeks. Sof has been quite the little trooper and only complains in the car, quite loudly. She loves being new places and seeing new things, the only hard part is getting there. She has never been a fan of her car seat.

We have made it a little tradition of ours to go to Peach Days in Brigham City each year. With living in Logan, and Greg's mom being from Brigham City, this part of Utah holds a special place in our hearts. The trip was short and sweet, but was a must needed little respite.

Like I said, she's a trooper ...
Back in her hey day, Greg's mom worked at the local hangout, Peach City. It's kind of a fun little place and we go there just for their greasy hamburgers, waffle fries, and famous peach shakes! Was the wait worth it? Why yes, yes it was. We usually sit at the bar just because we love the fact that the springs in the chairs no longer work and the counter has never been replaced ... yummy.
This is how much Greg loves waffle fries
Sofi tasting her first ever Peach shake. Yes, she loved it.
We are trying to explore this area in which we live, so we decided to take a hike to Patsy's mine, just above Greg's parents house in Farmington. I strapped the Sofi loaf on, and away we went.
Patsy's Mine
We were being adventurous and went into the mine until the end.
I kept thinking, "If there's an earthquake, we're dead. Oh well,
at least it wipes us all out at once."
Me with Sof strapped on
We can't go anywhere without a family selfie
This is Sofi looking slightly shocked after we pulled her out
of the pack. She just hung onto her daddy

Sofi is all about chewing on anything she see's us drink out of.
She's a genius this one, she knows how the camel back works.
With out adventurous streak still going, we decided to go on a walk on the Farmington trail. On our way back, we found this gigantic thing ...

Not a very good pic, but this bullfrog was HUGE!
Okay, it's not huge compared to me, but it was.
While I'm at it, Greg wanted me to put this pic in, to prove Sofi really does love him ... :) He's excited she's finally getting big enough for him to start throwing around.

She got some pretty good air
We are enjoying the cooler weather and are so excited for the upcoming holiday's. I finally decided on Sof's Halloween costume. Stay tuned for super cute pics!

And then there were 4 ...

Greg and I have been in charge of 4 kids this week. 4! It has been an experience for everyone involved. Luckily the kids have behaved and Sofi has thrived. She now naps and goes to bed the first time. Instead of boycotting naps, she now boycots the crib and instead sleeps on a big kid bed surrounded by pillows. Hopefully it's a sign that she is just missing her own crib or we might be in trouble when we get back home ...

My chariot awaits ...
Yes, I drove a van this week. Yes I survived. My image may have been tainted a little bit, but I will admit this thing is pretty comfy (don't tell Greg).

Sofi loved being up with the big kids. She would smile and laugh with them until it was time for them to go to school. Then she would look at me as if to say, "Great, it's only you again." She has thrived in this kid-friendly atmosphere and has been so fun. Max even got excited when she would smile and laugh at him. Progress!

Toby and April have the coolest toys
Sofi went to her first soccer game and was pretty enthralled with the whole process. Even if it was just watching 4 year olds kick the ball around. She's going to be a soccer player, I can feel it :).

Surrounded by cousins Zach, Sam, Sage & Kate
Rockin' the shades
As I mentioned, Sof slept like a rock whenever I would put her down. She has been so exhausted with all the excitement of the kids!

She would go to sleep looking like this ...
and wake up like this. (I think Megan's crazy sleeping habits
may have had an effect)
Sofi would sleep 12 hour nights and continue to take 3 hr naps during the day. Holy cow! If I didn't know her, I wouldn't recognize my own child. But it's a change I hope will stick.

So serene :)
It's going to be rough on us going back to our easy lives - we've kind of enjoyed the excitement. Greg jokingly said, "Guess we need more kids ..." when I told him how good Sofi is in the car with Sam. It's either his red hair or crazy antics. The kid is pretty hilarious.

She loves playing with the big kids!
Either way, it has been a fun experience. Sofi got to know her cousins, and I finally got Max to talk to me. It's going to rock Sofi's world when she goes back to being an only child. I've decided she should've been born the youngest instead of the oldest... Oh well :).
