Finishing up June

Sof and a cute neighbor friend participated in a local Entrepreneur Fair for kids. Sof sold her homemade bracelets and some fidget toys from my shop, and she made bank! We're definitely having her do it next year if it's in town again.
Greg channeled his inner salesman and was giving Sof some tips on how to Sale.
Claire loves Cherry Hill!
Our first time at Cherry Hill and I was dying seeing Greg like this next to our van. He has arrived in life people! 🤣
Oh you know, just eating Happy Meals one beautiful afternoon after Swim Lessons.
Every single one of their faces is priceless. I couldn't have planned it better.
I dyed the girls hair pink and purple one morning. It was super cute but immediately washed out after swim lessons. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
Happy Father's Day Greggy!
We love taking the ebike out after the kids are in bed. It really is so fun!

Shelby came to visit

Shelb hopped in the car and came home with us on the way home from my Grandpa's memorial. It was so fun having her!

We got home and I was beyond thrilled to see that FedEx had finally delivered my new ebike. They lost it TWICE and I was ticked! So to see that it was waiting for us was super exciting! Having a bike guru for a husband paid off because Greg had no problem putting it together. Thanks Greggy!

We had fun at splash pads!
Random, I know, but I love that Sof and I have the same feet.
I was dying one night when I came downstairs to Greg doing yoga and Shelby watching. It was hilarious!
Fun at Cherry Hill. Claire got her photogenic smile from her Dad.
Fun at the Centerville waterfall.
Monkey Claire.
And fun at the Hill Aerospace Museum.
I took Shelb on a tour of Kaysville just about every night, and I think I have her sold. She reminds me of myself at age 14, thinking Northern Utah is a horrible place, but after seeing how cute Kaysville is, with it's farmlands and back roads, she's realized it's not so different from Cedar City. Yeah, it's annoying having to go through Utah and Salt Lake counties to get here, but once you do, it's pretty great.
We had a lot of fun with Shelby. I enjoyed having a sister to do things with. We went shopping, laughed, watched movies way too late, and just talked. I wish my sister's lived closer, but for now, I'll take what I can get :).

Remembering Grandpa Thorley

We spent a week in Cedar playing hard with cousins. We had fun in the sun and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The girls also got on a lake for the first time and absolutely LOVED it! Sof even got up on a wakeboard with my sister. And, I dropped my phone in the lake, which wasn't ideal, but it happened and I now have a cute purple phone. Oh well.

Right before I dropped my phone in the water. It sank fast.
Claire loves bathing in my mom's sink.

Although my Grandpa Thorley passed away in November, the family planned to get together and celebrate his life after COVID had finally slowed down a bit. We all gathered in Cedar City around the time of his birthday in June. It was a LONG ceremony, but it was good. Good to celebrate my sweet grandpa, and so good to get together with cousins I don't see anymore. I accompanied my sister and cousin on their cello's, and the arrangement my aunt put together was absolutely beautiful. It was a beautiful day.

Afterwards, we all congregated up the canyon at Woods Ranch at a catered BBQ luncheon, which was delicious! Greg was thrilled because just up the road a ways was his favorite mtn biking trail, Blowhard. So, we ditched the kids for a min so I could shuttle him up and back. They barely missed us, I think. The girls had fun playing with their 2nd cousins and eating yummy food. We also found Kids Pond, which I haven't been to in years and was so happy to see that it was a lot cleaner than how I remember it.

My Grandpa's posterity.

Another day, it was fun to congregate with my cousins again at my Grandpa's condo pool. We swams for hours, and had so much fun! Meanwhile, Greg was on another mountain biking adventure.

The Great Grandchildren lineup

We finished out the trip/day by taking our traditional drive up to the temple.

Mini Enduro #1 at Jeremy Ranch (Park City)

Greg's gift to himself this year was not only a brand spanking new mountain bike, but 4 mini enduro races to go with it. He kicked off the season in June with his first one being up in Park City, and the day was absolutely beautiful! It was out first real venture out into nature since School had let out, so it was fun to mosey up the mountain with the girls.

Swim Lessons

I signed the girls up for 2 weeks of swim lessons, which started right when school ended - a perfect transition into Summer, I think. Just an extra precaution to help our Clairey babe not drown at Cherry Hill. And, the girls loved their lessons! I probably should have moved Claire up a class, but it was kind of hilarious to watch her ignore her teachers each and every day, and choose to do her own thing. It's nice to know it's not just me.

Also, It was so nice to have 30 minutes to myself each day.

Sofia the Softball Player

I was late to the game signing Sof up for softball, so after bugging the Parks & Rec. office enough times, they found her a spot on quite possibly the most adorable team ever, and her first game was the same night I got her signed up! So, we frantically had cereal for dinner, I texted Greg to bust his butt home, and off we went to Nicholl's Park for Sof to meet her team and coach.

Sof was so cute to watch! So animated and excited. That is how all sports should be, I think. She improved each game and had fun with her cute teammates.

The name of her team was The Sparkly Unicats and I couldn't have asked for a better coach.

Sof really had so much fun and is already so excited for next year!

And Sof's flipping off the camera. Classic 🤣
Sof's form is on point 👌
