Our Halloween Festivities

I've always loved Halloween, but it was so fun to actually have a reason to do things this year: Sofia! We pretty much packed all our Halloween activities into the week of. Greg was adamant about not being festive, but he didn't get away with it. Welcome to the rest of your life Greggy!!

At the pumpkin patch. Just a girl, her daddy and some sunflowers.
Last year we picked pumpkins but never did anything with them - this year was different. We stuck Sof in the bumbo while we gutted and carved. The plan was to stick her in the big one, but the days got way too cold so it never happened. But she was intrigued with the process. She tried so hard to eat the pumpkin guts.
When we visited my family earlier in October, my mom bought Sof the cutest baby pumpkin. We had to carve it and Sofi had to eat it.
Greg was very clear that he was not going to go to Gardner Village with us, so we found a friend! Disney and her cute boy Cache went with us. We found almost all of the witches and were able to take some cute pics of our babies :).
Sofi and Cache are quite the little buddies.
I had Sofi a flamingo Halloween costume, but when we were in Seattle Greg's sister showed me a cute pumpkin costume she'd used for her boys when they were babies. She let me bring it home and both costumes were so cute, I made sure we got pictures of her in both of them.
We made it home from Seattle just in time for the Spjute Witchey-Poo party. Sofi was thrilled to be there ...
Getting ready to go trick-or-treat at daddy's work!
Sofi sitting in her daddy's work chair. She was starting to roast in her costume so she ditched her hat. I wish I would've gotten a picture from the back, she looked like a little trucker when she was wearing the flamingo head.
Here she is as the cutest little pumpkin ever!
Visiting Grandpa
Visiting Aunt Rachelle.
We had so much fun trick-or-treating! I can't wait until Sofi will be able to run around next year. It's amazing how much can change in 12 months. Last Halloween we were announcing we were having a baby ... oh how life goes on. We wouldn't want it any other way. I told Greg to enjoy his last Halloween of not dressing up, because he has no choice next year. Oh how fun the holiday's are.
