LAGOON 2020!!!

We finally made it to Lagoon this Summer and the girls were thrilled!!! While Mel and her boys were in town, we all reserved our spot and away we went. COVID made it so we had to reserve our time, so we got there right at 11:00 AM and the place was basically empty. We were walking on all of the big rides. April was kind enough to watch the girlies so we could do so. And, we were reminded that gravity is not kind to us. We are getting OLD!

Greg was 1 week pre-surgery, so he masked up the whole time to stay COVID free.

Per tradition, we had to ride the carousel multiple times. Except, the one addicted to the Kitty wasn't Sofi this time around, it was Claire. Bad things happened if a kid chose the kitty before her.

Lunch Break!

This ride was my absolute favorite to watch. You'll see why 🤣

Looking so big in her Anna braids 💓
I snuck Claire on the Egg Drop. She was death gripping my arm the whole time and was completely silent. The jury is still out on if she liked it or not.
Sof found a peacock.
Sof was having the time of her life!
So was Clairey!

Greg took Sof on this airplane ride thing. He was not impressed. Claire and I were laughing so hard 😂
Sof and I finished up by going on the Sky Ride. It was one of my favorites as a kid and Sof loved it too. She has no fear and was leaning over everywhere. Hello anxiety!
These girlies LOVED Lagoon!! Meaning, Claire asks to go back just about every day. Passes may or may not be in their future.

Lagoon COVID-Style just might be my favorite. I could seriously get into this reserve-timing thing. Crowds were limited, and it was so nice to not be thronged by a bunch of grungy people. Plus, the girls loved it and we had way more fun following them around on their rides than we did going on our own. We had the time of our lives, and are so excited to go back Next Year :).
