Just when we think we've seen it all, Claire wakes up and we are immediately humbled. Claire woke up Friday. April 17, determined not to wear a diaper. So, we did what any unsuspecting parent of a two year old would do - we decided to potty train her. Friday wasn't super promising (as any 1st day of potty training never is), but toward the end of the day, Claire had done her 'bidness for both Greg and I. So, we were well on our way.

Saturday proved to be a bit more promising. Claire was responding to potty training right from the get go and we were surprising beyond belief. We didn't know Claire would be so easy to potty train.

We braved Claire having an accident and took a break to take Sof on her first solo trip down the Hollow. She did great! And Claire kept her panties dry. Double win!

2 days, and she was completely potty trained. No diapers for this girl, even at night! She's a rockstar and we learned a lot about Claire: she's stubborn and comes across as indifferent, but we learned that she is actually really smart and a quick learner.
Also, she went 2 weeks commando, and it was a fight to get her to wear pants/panties again. With this wedgie pic, we officially welcome Claire to the wonderful world of panties! |
