Sofi turns 5!

Sofi was so excited for her birthday this year! She kept asking and asking when it was, so she and I finally made a countdown chain to hang on her bedroom door. Well, the day finally came and despite the fact that it was during COVID and we couldn't have a friend birthday party, she was still her cheerful self. We love 5 year old Sofi!

It was made extra special this year by having Greggy home all day long!

Making cupcakes!
Claire's birthday gift was choosing to nap this day.

I felt so bad that Sof didn't get a birthday party, so I texted her cousins and they were all too happy to do a drive-by for her (which has become the new thing), and they did not disappoint!

Toby came prepared in his T-rex costume.

Even though we weren't supposed to mingle, everyone did anyway. I think we were all kind of over the whole social distancing thing. Plus, we're family. Who cares when it's family, right?
Sof documenting the whole thing on her cute new camera.
Claire loved her cupcake with blue icing.

The original plan was to have a friend movie night, but we improvised by inviting Mittens. Sof was so excited to watch "Onward" and have a late-night. She sure is growing up fast!

I won mother-of-the-year award when I realized we didn't have any candles! I must've thrown them all away after Greg's birthday. We did have a 2 and 3 which = 5, right Greg? Anyway, we used matches instead. To this day, Sofi still asks us why she didn't have candles on her birthday. And that is what she focuses on. Oh, Sof.
