Grandparent's Day 2020

Mark and Kathy outdid themselves on their Grandparent's Day this year. The girls were beyond excited to get to spend an afternoon with their cousins and grandparents.

We took the girls to April + Toby's where the kids played on a fun blowup water slide and a giant slip n'slide. Sof loved going down that and tirelessly ran and slid on it to her heart's content. Claire was so happy to have two giant sponges to play with in the blowup slide. Mark made his homemade sno cones and Kathy helped us tie-dye shirts for the kids. It was so fun!

Claire ended up getting hangry, so I took her up early to eat a hot dog for dinner while everyone else came shortly after. The plan was for the kids to sleep over, so we had packed a bag for Sof and left her smiling with grandma. But, around 10:30pm we got a phone call telling us she wanted to come home. Oh well, she had fun while it lasted but was ready to sleep in her own bed. We went back Saturday morning for breakfast. The girls lucked out in the grandparent department. What a fun day they had.
