Quick Trip to Boise

Greg's extended family in Boise rent a fun pond in the summer. It looked so much fun in pictures, that we decided to make a quick trip to join in this year. Quick, as in 36 hours round-trip quick. But, it was fun and we plan on going again.

Sofi only slept 50 minutes of the 4.5 hour drive, so it was long for more than one of us.

Selfie outside the carseat. It's how we survive
We visited Greg's Aunt Karen and Sofi loved her tiny bench
Brian (Greg's cousin) and his wife Clarissa were so nice to let us stay at their house Friday night. They are so much fun and make us wish we lived closer! Sofi got along with their kids so well and loved their toys. We learned she can climb a ladder all by herself while getting on their tramp. She would have loved to stay if we would let her.

On the way to the pond. It was easier to read her books this way.
Eventually, she convinced me to join her in the backseat.
The girls, and Sofi sitting with cute cousin Abby.
I should have gotten more pictures of these two. Aren't they just the cutest?
Greg found this bulldozer.
Sam waiting patiently for his turn.
She loves being with the big kids.
I lost track of how many times she would go down this thing. She would just say "Pease, pease, pease" over and over until we went down again.  To say she loved it would be an understatement.
After a cookie and a dum dum, Aunt Lisa finally won her love.
the whole Spjute clan
Greg with Grandma Great. Sofi finally got to meet her, and what a sweet lady she is!
This was the most vibrant sunset I've seen in a long time. It was everything that is pretty.
After the pond, we packed up around 7:50 pm Saturday and drove back to shower at Brian and Clarissa's real quick. Sofi got a power nap until 8:30 pm and played in the backseat until 10:30 pm when Greg finally convinced her to go to sleep. We watched a lightning show the whole way home and thought a shooting star would hit us. We finally arrived home around 1:15 am Sunday. A quick trip, but so much fun.
