In the Bleak Midwinter ... aka February

Oh February, 1 month into Busy Season. Luckily we are pro's and know that eventually, April will come. Until then, we spent a lot of time at the jump park ... it's my survival net for Busy Season and being a single parent ... and had fun playing the Wii. We went on walks and found things to do. Being otuside is how you survive with a toddler. We found ways to stay busy and have fun.

Sof got to ditch school for some reason or another, naturally meaning we ended up at McDonald's for lunch. It's always fun for Quincey to have one of her sisters home to play ever once in a while.

I try to be a fun mom every so often.

Another day, another park - in Bountiful.

Perks to being a controller: Box seats at the Jazz Game.

Imagine my utter delight when I spotted flowers blooming on Feb. 13!
Cute hair for Galentine's Day.
Our Annual trip South for President's Holiday.

The plan was to go to the Desert Hills Temple Open House, but when we got there and saw the line wrapping completely around the building (meaning a 2 hr wait), we decided to take pictures and call it good.

I love my little girl gang. Road trips with them are so fun!

After exploring the temple grounds, we got lunch and headed to our favorite Tonaquint Park. It was super crowded, but completely worth it to be able to enjoy the absolutely beautiful day in St. Geroge! The fresh dose of sunshine was just what we needed in the middle of February.

Sof had the best time meeting up with her cute friend, Annabelle. They both figured out they would be in St. George at the same time and planned to meet up. It was fun watching their plan come to fuition.
Quincey with her bestie, Mocha. Reunited, and it feels so good!
New glasses!

We had Stake Conference at the Round Building, and after realizing Sofi couldn't read the songs being projected on the screen, we realized she needed glasses ... turns out she'd needed them all year but didn't want them so she never told me (I know!). Needless to say, she now has them and loves being able to see! And, now she can actually find things when we ask her to look for them. Poor Sof.
Dog Pile, and yours truly was on bottom. These 3 are HEAVY!
Enjoying a sunny day outside.
I love finding Claire's little cat drawings. They make me smile every time.
HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TO QUINCEY!
2 Years with Quincey - what fun we have had. She continues to be the best little caboose to our Girl Gang. She loves Moana, Dancing, Being Outside, and hanging with the big kids.
I can't believe this is the only picture I took all day, but I guess it doesn't matter because we ended it at her favorite place ever: The Jump Park.
Thank you Google for this one. She's gotten so big!

Leap Day! And you better believe we spent it with Hondo, our bestie.
