Heading home from Bear Lake

Monday was our last day. The girls made the most of their time playing in the water. We were in no big hurry to head home, but wanted to get home in a reasonable amount of time.

Greg brought his bike and went out on some trails. I found out a few days later that he had treated himself to a LaBeau's hamburger and shake, the traitor!

His response: "I earned it."

He's fired.

We had so much fun!

Grandma and Grandpa rented a jetski the last 1.5 hours and we had so much fun riding it! Sof would get motionsick, so she rode in the back. I love being able to take my kids out on things like these, just to relive my childhood a bit. Sometimes I can be crazy, and it's a fun reminder when I am able to do so.

Quincey hung out with her friends while we loaded everything in the car.
We came home to a beautiful, moody evening.

We made it home in time for dinner on July 24. Afterwards, the girls had baths and were getting ready for bed. I had taken Quincey in her room then walked into mine for a minute. While I was in my room, I looked up to see a naked baby walking down the hallway to Sofi and Claire's room. Not a couple of steps, but many steps!

Quincey had been holding out on us!

She had waited until she was almost 17 months to finally walk.

It's a miracle!
