The In-betweens of July

July was BUSY!

We counted the days and between all of our trips, we were actually gone for more days than we were home, which is not like us at all.

We played hard and had so much fun along the way!

While we were home, we were able to soak in some relaxing moments, like these ...

We finally made it to Cherry Hill! June was a cold month!
The gangs all here!
The many faces of Quincey Rose

Greg made it out on the Skyline Trail above Ogden. The views were beautiful!

The reservoir was so full!!
Sometimes I like to torture Claire with a hug that she can't do anything about. It's the best!

Sof and I made a trip to Logan one day. I ordered a bike and it was finally ready! Sof was excited to tag along and have a playdate with her cute friend Anna. My heart always does happy things when I'm able to visit Logan. It was such a special place for me right after Hight School!

Sof's friend lived in Providence, just a few blocks away from our amazing Bishop Pehrson, who was on a mission to San Diego. I had to stop by and snap a pic.
Brent! He's still biking around! It made me so happy to see him and all of his keychains.

The cute mint bike I originally ordered ended up being a size too small, so I upgraded to this beauty.
When in Logan, one has to stop and get Aggie Ice Cream! Sof was in heaven!
While we were in Logan, Greg had fun at Cherry Hill with Quincey and Claire
While at Al's, I snagged some newer and much smaller folding camp chairs. The girls loved them.

We hardly ever go to Wal-mart. Simply because I hate the place, but the girls were in heaven when we did make it there one day. There's just something about that dang claw machine ...

Fun at the dentist.
Naturally the girls didn't have cavities, so we celebrated with snow cones.
I've heard fun things about the Bountiful Splash Pad by the Tabernacle, and we finally made it happen! It was a lot of fun - definitely different than most splash pads.

Claire normally wins the fights, but Sof held her own prtetty good here.

There's a log in the Hollow that Claire loves to walk across. It makes me nervous, but she has yet to fall to her death.
She made it! Now she just needs to walk back :).
Fun at the Nicholl's Park one evening.

Claire lost another tooth!

When Claire drives me crazy, I sit on her. It makes me feel better every time :).

We made the two hour trek down to Mount Pleasant for MaKaty and Niel's Open House. We had a lot of fun and got home at Midnight. I've never been there, and the place has zero stop lights, which was crazy, but we loved being there! The girls had fun running around with cousins and exploring.

Lagoon!

Sofia wanted so badly to go to Lagoon. Girlfriend had regressed pretty badly in foods she would eat, so we created a chart for her to earn Lagoon. She had to eat something "new" consecutively for 30 days. If she somehow missed a day, she would have to start all over. It was brutal, but she eventually did it.

What made it even more fun, was going with cousins! Sof and Abby are the best of friends, 2nds cousins, and we wished we saw them more so the girls could play a lot! But, riding roller coasters was the next best thing. They were living their best lives at Lagoon, together.

The day we went was hot. Like, HOT! So hot that a lot of people weren't there. So although it was hot, and we were sticky, the lines to the rides really weren't so bad.

We divided and conquered. Claire was tiny the last time we went to Lagoon, so I was more than happy to follow her around and experience the little coasters with her. She loved them!

Living their best lives with the big kids! We hardly saw Sof, but every time we did she had the biggest smile on her face.
The egg drop is one of my favorite rides! It was fun to finally catch up with Greg so I could ride it again with Claire.
And of course, we rode the carousel multiple times.

Few things make Claire as happy as having her face painted.

My fellow Coke fan.
#Twins.

We broke for lunch under one of the pavillions and ate some yummy food in between rides. Everyone decided to go to Lagoona Beach, for which we did not pack for, so I ran home real quick while everyone went on Rattlesnake Rapids.

At Lagoona Beach, we a Peahen with her Peababies (not sure what Peacock babies are called). They were so cute!

We are spoiled with Cherry Hill. Lagoona Beach was nothing excited and the people there were even less so. No pictures are necessary, but the girls did have fun on the big slides.

Hey Claire, what do you call a camel with 3 humps?

Pregnant. Ha!
Taking a respite on the Train.
Quite possibly the ugliest Peacock I've ever seen. Luckily Claire was there to make it cute.

Claire picked the next ride to go on, simply to tormet me. She knows I don't like Ferris Wheels, so she chose this mini one. I did my best to make it fun.

We had a full day of fun!
More Carousel Fun.

Quite possibly the cutest person in all of Lagoon.

When I was little, I would save my money just to buy Dip'n Dots whenever we would visit Lagoon. Purely for sentimental reasons, We got them on our way out.

And, we were able to watch these guys as we walked to our car.

We walked so many steps, were hot, sticky, and tired.

But boy did we have fun!

Sof deemed Cannibal her absolute favorite ride, and she was able to ride it 3-4 times with minimal wait time, so I call that a success.
