Discovered Silver Lake

Instagram alerted me about this beautiful hike that I had never been to or even heard about, so because I'm the Mom and people like to keep me happy, everyone agreed to load into the car, drive to Brighton, and go on this "hike." Like the refined people that we are, we boiled water and had a yummy ramen dinner up on some picnic tables while taking in the view of Silver Lake, which was absolutely Stunning! It was much colder than we anticipated, but everyone was good sports.

Where's Sofi & Claire?

Thermos' full of hot chocolate and warm car heaters were desperately needed after our chilly walk around the lake, but boy was it beautiful! The colors, lighting and atmosphere were definitely worth the drive.
