Boise Fun

Since coming home from their mission, Mark and Kathy wanted to spend time with each side of the family in a fun place. The Spjute's chose to all convene at a place called McCall, ID. It was about 7 hours away from us, so we chose to drive halfway and stay in Boise with Greg's Aunt Karen and Uncle Scott. We had so much fun and felt so welcome there. The girls loved every second.

It was cool to see a crop duster on our way to Boise. It's been years since I've seen one!

On the way there, we chose to stop at Karen/Scott's house to drop our stuff off, then got back in the car and drove another 30 min. to Greg's cousin Sherstine's beautiful new house. It was out surrounded by farmland, and the girls had a lot of fun catching the kitties and chasing the chickens.

Aunt Karen set the girls up a princess bed (air mattress) and they were psyching themselves up late thinking they were hearing ghosts. They eventually fell asleep and slept good - they are hilarious!

We woke up Saturday and went to explore Boise. I've never actually spent time-time in Boise, and was pleasantly surprised to realize that it is actually a lot of fun!

We took our bikes and rode the trail along Boise State, then eventually found an opening down to the river to play in the water. Afterwards, we played at a fun park on our way back to the car. The weather was beautiful and the girls loved it!

The girls loved the zipline in Aunt Karen's backyard.

Claire gave me a "Spa." It wasn't too bad :).

Claire went a little crazy with the sunscreen.

For dinner, we stopped at McDonald's and it was surprisingly delicious! Who knew?

The perfect way to end the day - in a hot tub in beautiful McCall
