February 2025

February - So many fun things! Park trips, birthday's, ice cream and adventures.

---

We started February out strong with a surprise 40th birthday party for Aunt Lori in Morgan. It was fun to grab an early dinner with cousins, then race to Morgan to surprise Lori, which we did! We don't have a lot of family gatherings for my side of the family, so it's been fun to get together with Lori whenever we can - the Whetten's sure know how to throw a party!

Sof learned swing dancing with Lexi. They got pretty good.

Claire helped make cloud shelves for her room, and they turned out really cute!

Snow day!

Where's Quincey?
One of Claire's more elaborate morning sleep positions.

We had lunch one Saturday while Greg was working (Busy Season, blah!) and we ended up being at McDonald's for quite a while.

By girl #3, I have come to the realization that having cute hair is overrated. But, I decided to be a fun mom on Valentine's and give Quincey a heart in her hair.

Greg made the girls their own Valentine Cards, and they were hilarious!

He also surprised them with tickets to the Daddy Daughter Dance again, and they had a blast!

This is the video I look forward to each year for Greg to send me!

They girls had the best night ever! Quincey was super lucky and got her name pulled out of a hat to win a unicorn at her first dance! She's probably going to have high expectations for future years. The girls had fun and came home with the prettiest roses!

Because, why wouldn't he nap on my clean, dry clothes?

Quince contracted a crazy virus from somewhere and developed a full body rash, poor girl! She got really good at soaking in oatmeal baths.
This popped up on our "frame" and I'm realized these 2 photo's together perfectly summarize what Claire's toddler years were like 🤣.

We spent an afternoon at the Get Air in Murray and had fun.
We managed to go on a date night!

and Claire LaRee :).

Happy 3rd Birthday to Quincey!
She brings so much joy and laughter to our family.
We spent the day eating her favorite things, playing at the jump park and Farmington park, and eating yummy cupcakes.
Quincey loves to sing, dance, play outside, torment mittens and rule our girl gang.
She is the perfect little caboose to our family, and we can't believe she's already 3!

I found this in the archives and it made me smile. Quince sure is shy, but girfriend has a big personality!

January 2025

January 2025 - What a month. In the bleakness of the winter, we still found joy.

We've made a fun tradition of going swimming on New Years. The girls are still young enough to have fun at the Bountiful Rec Center pool.

This video highights everything Quince loves at the moment: Telling Alexa what to do, Loving that Alexa obeys and responds, and dancing & lip syncing to Moana's newest songs.

Yummy New Years Salsa!

We had a fun afternoon at the Gateway Discovery Center. It was a very cool place!

It was fun to walk around the Gateway with my girls. Pretty sure it was their first time there.

We are sure to take advantage of Toddler Time at Get Air every week.

This cat really does deserve a stairway to heaven.

Getting some reading time in with my girlies.

Waking Claire up is one of my favorite things. I never know how I'm going to find her.

The boa constrictor hold - my favorite way to snuggle Claire.
We spent a chilly afternoon exploring Station Park.
It was warm enough to take a ride on the GOAT, so you better belive we did!

As the girls have gotten older, our mandatory trips to southern Utah have become less and less often. It's a double-edge sword. Nice to be busy enough to stay home, but sad to not be able to visit family as often.

We spent some time swimming at Cedar's Rec Center. It was fun to bring Grandma Jan along.

We are sure to visit Grandma Jolley whenever we come to town. Her memory isn't what it used to be, but she remembers and loves us. My girls know she loves them, and that is all that matters. Dimentia has altered her a bit, but she is still a master at the piano. It was a wonderful evening spent with her.
Our last night, the girls could be found in their favorite spots - watching Reels with Grandpa.

We made it back home in time to celebrate Greg!
Happy 37th Birthday!
Greg loves his birthday, as you can tell.
#Mood. Any guess on who's birthday is next?
