Fun in Oregon - Thursday

Have I mentioned I love morning walks on the beach? Because I really do.

I came back and found 2 very hungry campers. Greggy was using this morning to sleep in.

Waiting by the fire for breakfast to cook.

The Sleeping Spjutie finally woke up.

I have this unfounded love for Lighthouses. It might be the mystery, the history, the location, the unknown, etc. I really couldn't tell you. So, the plan Thursday was to take a trip to Cape Mears to see the Lighthouse. It is in such a pretty little area, and we were able to make the hike to the Octopus Tree, so that was a win-win for everyone involved, except maybe Greg because he had to hike both himself and Claire out when she got tired, and that girlfriend is heavy!

Nothing motivates Claire more than a lunchable. She was so excited to eat one for lunch that she sat down in the middle of the walkway and started peeling it open.

I coaxed her to a safer spot on the hill. It is hilarious how she eats them. She stacks all 3 pizza's together, glues them together with sauce and cheese, then eats the pepperoni's last. It is a work of art watching her assemble everything.

It is quite the jaunt down the hill to the lighthouse.

You guessed it ... more ice cream!!

We tried to get a timed jumping picture. It didn't work out too well 🤣

The line of Spjute's on the beach really is very impressive.

Still too cold for Claire.
