1st and 4th Grades

Summer eventually ended and we were forced back into a schedule. We had such a fun summer and didn't want it to end, but end it did.

Sof was pretty nervous to start 4th Grade but put on a brave face.
Quince didn't want her Daddy to go to work.

It was an early out day so the girls were home by 1:30. Sof left teary-eyed but came home with the biggest smile and a popsicle - both girls loved their teachers. They were excited for another year.

Greg's Final Bike Race

It has become such a fun thing to chase Greg around the mountain for his summer bike races. His final one was somewhere up Little Cottonwood Canyon (I can't keep all of the resorts straight) and it was a beautiful evening!

But first, I need to include this video of Quincey from Cherry Hill earlier in the day.

First race - he was flying!

He was really excited to be able to take the lift back up to the top for the 2nd leg.

Meanwhile, the girls found ways to entertain themselves.

It really was the perfect evening.

Sof practicing with the cow bell 😂

2nd Race - still super speedy.

Sof brought along a friend - Annabelle fit in great with our girl gang.

Catching Up - July 2024 Fun

I'm officially a year behind on the blog - how embarassing. I hope to one day print it, so here I am slogging through, trying to update it on all of our fun adventures.

Fun at the Jump Park.
Sof and I took a date to west Kaysville on the Ebike to watch the fireworks. They were beautiful! And, it was so fun cruising around at night with my little bestie.
Claire was sick so Greg took one for the team and stayed home from the 4th of July parade while we went and sweated - I know, he was crushed.
She was so excited for me to let her paint her own chair PINK! Paint in one hand, ice cream in the other - talk about the perfect combo.
These unicorn slippers were worn on repeat everywhere for a whole week. It was the cutest thing.
Feeding Hondo his daily treats.
Not sure what's going on here, but it might have to do with my velcro children.

We had fun at the Syracuse splash pad one day. I love being able to sit in the tent while the girls run around together and play.

We had the Kaysville splash pad all to ourselves one evening.
The girls found a moment to prey on my weakness.
We got a fun new swing!
We were laughing so hard! Claire found a matching outfit at Boondocks. (Look at the lady in the background).

So many adventures in July! I love our little family.
