Christmas Break & New Years

Sof has become quite the little sledding conisseur!
Out playing in the snow with Camden. I love that she's finally old enough to go play and come back in when she's done.

We made good use of our Seaquest Aquarium passes.
There is something about the Megalodon that makes me glad it's extinct!

Her cheesy grin is truly the greatest!
Sof having fun with her new marble run.
New Years Eve we made good use of some Boondocks passes we were given last year for Christmas. I'm pretty sure both girls beat me in Bowling. Oh well.

The carousel was a hit, as always, and Claire was not happy to leave.

Greg won Sof this awesome giant ball!
We were greeted with this beautiful sunset as we walked out the doors.
Greg worked New Years, so we were content to chill that day.
I found this little nugget on the stool. She sure is a curious little thing! Nothing is safe... nothing.
New Years Day we went swimming at the Bountiful Rec Center. That is one of the 3 things I miss about living in Bountiful. That Rec center is pretty great, and the girls had a lot of fun! Claire was all about going down the slide and Sof was so happy to be able to swim like a mermaid. She's convinced she will receive a mermaid tail as soon as she can swim without her floaties. We shall see.

Christmas Day

As Sof was coming up the stairs, Claire threw her cup and luckily it nailed Sof in the armpit instead of the face. Nothing screams Merry Christmas like a flying object coming your way!

The slide was a big hit.

I gave Greg a head massager and Claire wasn't a fan. Her reaction was so funny that we tortured her all day long.

I'm realizing now that I didn't take many pictures on Christmas, but know that it was so fun and relaxing! We went to the Spjute's so Greg could eat his Breakfast Casserole, and then he took Sof to a movie and I got to relax while Claire took her nap. You better believe I stayed in my jammies all day.

All Sof wanted for Christmas were Disney princesses. And she has yet to even play with them. I can't figure it out. Grandpa gave her this little traveling case that she put all of them in and it has been zipped shut since. Oh Sof.

Christmas Eve and Dresses

It really is so sad that I'm still trying to blog about Christmas and it's nearly the middle of February. But, I've been busy so it's not like I'm completely being oblivious. Or maybe I am ... Regardless, I will get caught up!

Looking fancy in our Sunday Best. Thank you 10 second timer.
The love she has for this rocking chair is no joke.
This is as good as it gets.

Christmas Eve was beautiful and so fun because of all of the fluffy snow we received! It was fun to spend the day outside and together. Christmas truly is the best time of the year.

They built an awesome snowman!
I think Claire could rival Baby Sof on her love for swings.
One of my favorite pictures of all time!
Decorating cookies!
Our heavy drinker.
The girlies opened their Christmas jammies and Sofi said, "Oohhhh! This is the prettiest dress I've ever seen!"
I'm now realizing how weird Claire's face looks in this picture, but this is a classic face she likes to make at people and have them back it back to her.
And there it is again. Christmas Eve Selfies. Who knows where Greg was?

Sofi slept downstairs in the big bed and was so excited to see what Santa would bring her in the morning! She sprinkled her sparkly Reindeer food she made in Preschool on the lawn to help the reindeer find their way to our house, and made sure to leave cookies and milk. Her excitement sure was fun to experience this year!

Giant Gingerbread House & Crying with Santa

I love the giant gingerbread house at the Grand America Hotel. Maybe it's because I love that amazing hotel itself. Who knows? But it's something fun to do, so we went.

Ignore the creepy eye reflection.
This is out of order, but Sof fell asleep on the way to see the gingerbread house. Greg and I were so confused how it happened!

Sof came home as the cutest reindeer one day from preschool.
We got lost in our neighbor's fun backyard one day.
He's an artist, so there's all kinds of creative stuff to play around with.
Then we crashed Santa's party one night at Station Park. I'm pretty sure getting our kids to cry with Santa is the highlight of the season for Greg.
The Johnson's hosted a non-Christmas party for the Spjute's, and we ate good food and played some fun games.
She did pretty good.
